Let's Runaway to U.S.

So this past week was the start of summer school and I tried really hard to convince myself that 6 weeks wasn’t so bad. But sitting in a classroom for 6 hours from Monday to Thursday was already a pain in the arse (sometimes I like to pretend I’m British). Fortunately, I don’t have school on Fridays, so I took this advantage as a getaway to Universal Studios.

My mom, sister, her friend, and my cousin also went with me.
Below are some pics that I took.

Despite the fact that I was sick and woke up at 7:00 a.m. on Friday and came back home at 8:00 p.m., I was surprised by how energetic I was. I got to go on the new Despicable Me 4-D ride, including the Transformers 4-D ride and both were so realistic and plain awesome. I went on the Mummy ride two times just cause it was so exhilarating.

So this pretty much wraps things up! Hope you guys enjoyed this post and are enjoying your summer, unlike someone over here. Haha. just kidding. But seriously, take summer as an advantage to try new things, travel to different places, and just have fun while you still can!

Talk to you soon,
- Melanie

Post- Concert Feels: One Republic ft. The Script

Hey everyone! I'm sorry I haven't been blogging lately. But to sum up these past days, my summer has been pretty productive and very exciting! Sorry this is such a long blog! I had a lot of things to say.
Anyways, yesterday (Thursday), I got the chance, along with three of my church friends and my sis, (surprisingly, my parents didn't come along), to go and see two of my most favorite bands perform at the Hollywood Bowl: The Script & One Republic. AHHHH!!!

This was literally all thanks to my church friends and my mom. I had no clue that they planned this for my sister, one of my church friends, and me, as a really, really belated birthday gift.

There were about 18,000 people there and the view from the Hollywood Bowl was simply breathtaking. I saw the Hollywood sign and the Griffith Observatory from our seats. So despite how far we were from the stage, I absolutely enjoyed the scenery and view.

Below are some pics that I took:

around this time, it smelled like skunk. But turned out, someone was smoking pot. LOL.
got boba and udon at Noodle World (taken around 12:30 a.m.)

There were no words to describe how I felt when The Script and One Republic performed. It's so hard nowadays to find singers/bands that can sing live, but these two bands never went off-tune and they nailed every song perfectly. I literally have a whole playlist on Spotify dedicated to both of them. I sang to almost all of their songs and ugh, the feels. I can't even. I practically grew up listening to their songs and finally being able to see them in person... wow, I was in a complete state of awe.

The concert ended around 11:20 p.m. and we got home at 1:30 a.m., which was the latest we've ever went home.
Last night was incredibly insane and ridiculously amazing. I had such an awesome time with my friends and it couldn't have been more perfect.

Hope you're having a wonderful summer so far! I'll talk to you guys soon.
